Services on Hong Kong’s MTR Island line resumed after an obstruction on the tracks near Wan Chai station caused a 30-minute delay during Wednesday morning peak hours.
According to the rail operator, an object was detected on the tracks shortly before 7am, forcing the immediate suspension of train services between Sheung Wan and Quarry Bay stations.
Trains were running at 10-minute intervals between Kennedy Town and Sheung Wan, as well as between Quarry Bay and Chai Wan.
