MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation on Friday, during which they thoroughly discussed current events in the Middle East, including the escalation of the situation in Syria, the Kremlin said.
